While Alaska was our destination, Seattle was our port-of-call, so we spent a couple of days in Washington State before embarking on the cruise. We started with Snoqualmie Falls and Lake Wenatchee, visited the Bavarian-style town Leavenworth, and in Seattle, the Pop Culture Museum near the Space Needle, before sailing away from the Seattle skyline and off to Alaska.
As a bonus, we were able to see the Northern Lights on the cruise, and I captured a timelapse.
